NVS
The NVS System combines the unique properties of lightweight insulating concrete and Insulperm premium-expanded polystyrene foam insulation board. The NVS mix consists of NVS Concrete Aggregate and Portland cement. NVS is engineered for use over non-venting substrates and in reroofing and re-cover applications. Because of its higher compressive and tensile strengths, NVS requires only a one-inch minimum thickness over the top of Insulperm Insulation Board. The NVS System utilizes the NVS Base Sheet Fastener, which has a nominal one-inch length.
- Siplast offers two aggregate-based lightweight insulating concrete systems: ZIC and NVS.
- Reroofable to reduce environmental impact.
- Provides fire protection, prevents air infiltration, and bonds the total insulation system to the substrate.
NVS Concrete Aggregate
Patented formulated product mixed with Portland cement (1:3.5 volume ratio) and water to have a minimum dry density of 35 pcf. When mixed with water becomes NVS Concrete.
NVS Premix
Specially formulated product containing NVS Concrete Aggregate, additives, and Type I Portland cement. When mixed with water NVS Premix becomes NVS Lightweight Insulating Concrete.
NVS Fastener
Base sheet fastener for use with lightweight insulating concrete.
