About Sturdy-Dek® Asphaltic Cover Board
Sturdy-Dek® Asphaltic Cover Board for Siplast modified bitumen systems is designed to protect the roofing assembly and provide a uniform substrate for Paradiene® membranes. The asphaltic panel consists of a core, faced with two asphalt-saturated fiberglass liners. Siplast’s Paradiene® membranes may be cold applied or torched directly to the Sturdy-Dek® Asphaltic Cover Board, providing a compatible and durable modified bitumen substrate for your roofing system. Upon torching or applying cold adhesive Sturdy-Dek® Asphaltic Cover Board becomes a key component of the roof membrane, reinforcing its strength and improving its resistance to punctures.*
