Parafor 50, Torch-Applied
Parafor 50 TG are finish plies in single layer and multi-layer applications, and as a base flashing material where granule-surfaced flashing sheets are required. These high-performance, modified bitumen finish plies are torch-applied. The back surfaces are manufactured using a special process that embosses the surface with a grooved pattern to provide optimum burnoff of the polyolefin film and maximize application rates.

Parafor 50 TG
Consists of a fiberglass scrim/polyester mat composite impregnated and coated with high-quality SBS-modified bitumen, and surfaced with ceramic granules.
Parafor 50 TG BW
Consists of a fiberglass scrim/polyester mat composite impregnated and coated with high-quality SBS-modified bitumen, and surfaced with highly reflective, white mineral granules.

Environmental Impact
Siplast Bright White cap plies are designed to reflect more sunlight and absorb less heat than a standard colored granule. Using the Energy Commission’s solar reflectance index calculator, Bright White granules achieve an initial SRI of 92.
